The purpose of this organization is to provide a forum for community issues and concerns. The association brings together community members for social and community awareness.
Our bylaws are attached SCA BYLAWSwithappendix#2, amended at the April 2016 membership meeting.
This year, the SCA is celebrating 108 years of civic opportunities in the community. Any adult who resides in the area and shares concerns of the community is invited to participate and become a member. Yearly dues of $10 are due in September.
The Sewanee Civic Association is led by an executive board and is governed by the active membership. Board officers for 2017-18 are:
President, Lynn Stubblefield; Vice President, David Michaels; Secretary, Megan Roberts; Treasurer, Diane Fielding; Member-at-Large, Aaron Welch; Director of Parks, Steve Burnett.
